Grain Free Chocolate Coconut Granola

A healthier way to satisfy your chocolate sweet tooth



  • 1 cup raw pecans
  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1/2 cup sliced raw almonds
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut chips
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup cacao nibs
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder or cacao powder
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • Pinch of sea salt


  1. Add the raw pecans and cashews to a food processor and pulse until they are roughly the size of oats
  2. Add the processed pecans and cashews  with the sliced almonds, coconut chips, shredded coconut, cacao nibs, cocoa/cacao powder, and salt in a mixing bowl and stir to combine
  3. Mix in the honey and coconut oil and stir until the mixture is wet and thoroughly combined
  4. Spread the granola evenly in a thin layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper* (parchment paper is optional but it keeps the granola from sticking to the pan)
  5. Bake at 275º for 30 minutes, stirring once after 15 minutes.
  6. After 30 minutes, turn off the oven but don't remove the granola for another 15 minutes
  7. Remove the granola from the oven and let cool for a final 15-20 minutes. Remove from pan with a spatula and store in an airtight container
