Grain Free Cinnamon Raisin Granola

Grain-free granola with all the flavors of an oatmeal raisin cookie without the oats



  • 1 cup raw walnuts
  • 1 cup raw pecans
  • 1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup raw slivered almonds
  • 1/3 cup raisins (unsweetened )
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch sea salt


  1. Preheat oven to 275
  2. Add the walnuts and pecans to a food processor and pulse for a few seconds until they are in small, oat size pieces
  3. In a large bowl, combine the walnut and pecan pieces with the sunflower seeds, almonds, raisins, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until combined
  4. Add the vanilla extract, honey, and coconut oil to the bowl and mix until thoroughly combined and everything is coated with the honey and oil
  5. Spread the granola evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until its browned a bit. Then, turn the oven off but leave the granola in the oven for another 15 minutes. 
  6. Finally, remove the granola from the oven and let cool for 10-15 minutes before eating or removing from the pan (this helps those nice clusters form).
